Important Notice
Our outdoor activities take place in forest space. During the critical fire season, for the safety of our customers and our team, as well as during periods of alert, due to legal impediments to circulation and/or permanence in forest space, we reserve the right to decline, postpone or cancel activities depending on the conditions of the moment.

Electric mountain bike rental and/or guided tour
The Serra de Grândola is a paradise for mountain bikers on a national level, with many valleys, water streams, single-tracks and mountains with breathtaking views. With our electric Mondraker mountain bikes, we make this paradise accessible to everyone, and challenge you to discover new limits on a guided tour where you will also be offered local gastronomic experiences.
You can bring your own bike and enjoy our trails, or rent one of our Mondraker Crafty E-Bikes to explore on your own or in a tour guided by us.
Hiking trails and Owners' Tour
In order to provide access to the houses, the springs and to allow the harvesting of cork, over centuries and generations paths have been opened all over the estate, many of them hidden or little used.
We decided to share this treasure with our guests, creating a network of marked trails, with four different levels, which can be traversed on foot or by bicycle, independently. If you prefer a bespoke experience, you can do the Owners' tour, where you will walk these and other paths accompanied by one of the members of the owning family, and where you will learn much more about the history of the places and about the Montado (cork oak forest).
Yoga classes and sound healing sessions
With the sound of birds, the shade of trees and the light of the sun, Margarida leads our guests in one-hour group yoga classes, either early in the morning or at sunset.
Margarida obtained her 200-hour YTT in Guatemala in 2020, but has been practising since 2012. Her preferred style is Vinyasa — a type of yoga that links movement and breath to achieve balance in body and mind. From the Sanskrit "placing in a particular way", Vinyasa aligns a deliberate sequence of poses with the breath to create a continuous flow.
Through her yoga journey, she discovered mantras and the use of sound as medicine.
She studied Sound Ceremony with masters Jaya Saraswati (Guatemala) and Ricardo Mones (Mexico). At the Herdade, she holds private and group sound healing sessions — journeys guided by different sounds, vibrations and frequencies, leading you to a state of deep relaxation and healing.
Please let her know in advance if you are interested in a class or session, or if you would like further information.
